The last step is to add the actions, specifically, closing the shutters or curtains. Select all shutters or curtains that should be closed and tap on “Next”.

In the next step, you can give your automation a name and set the desired accessory state. In our case, the shutters or curtains should be closed. You can change the state by tapping on the device and adjusting the slider to the desired height. You can switch between “open” and “closed” even faster by tapping on the icon for that accessory.

With the option “Test This Automation,” you can check if everything works smoothly. Tap “Done” to create and activate the automation.

With another automation, you can automatically open the shutters or curtains at sunrise.
